Diego Simeone’s team reached the final of the Champions League for the second time in three years, after defeating Bayern Munich in the semifinals.
Interestingly, the last two winners of the Champions League, Real Madrid are Barcelona, ??Bayern precisely eliminated in the semifinals, to be announced at the end champion.
Bayern eliminated Real Madrid in the semifinals in 2014 with an overall score of 5: 0 defeat in the final to Atletico, thereby ending 12 years of suffering to win a record tenth.
